I wanted to create a page that really highlighted what is important to me, what I have a achieved, and what I'm hoping I will achieve.
First off, I am studying to be an Interior Designer. No, I am not an Interior Decorator. I can help you with your final finishes in your house, but that's not all I do. I promise I am not trying to insult anyone, but I'm sure just like a lot of other careers out there, Interior Design may not be what you thing it is.
We can work with project managers, managing a construction site from ground up. We can work with remodeling companies to improve an existing space. Interior Designers work one on on with clients, figuring out their wants and needs. We develop a design solution that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Most importantly we design to create a better unified world.
This year at Radford University I am a junior in the Interior Design program. Only one more year! I know I'll miss it regardless of how hard I think it is now, but man am I excited to start my own career! I've now taken a lot of classes here at Radford and let me tell ya, they are hard. However, after all the late nights, all the project deadlines, and all the learning in between I LOVE INTERIOR DESIGN.
